ABOUT ME

Returned from living in Europe for seven years, a Minnesota native, home is always home.
I'm a jewelry designer, goldsmith, and art/ metal enthusiasts. I love to travel and meet new people! I love to find jewelry makers wherever I go and continually study the art of making jewelry and jewelry design. I also love cooking and enjoy running / biking :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed and hosted travelers a lot more in these last few years. I can meet people who want to have a coffee or a drink and know more about Minneapolis and the outlying areas. I am busy with work and traveling so sometimes I cannot host depending on my schedule.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went on an awesome 9 day bike trip thru southern France and met some amazingly nice people! I love French people! :) I have hosted many CSers at my appartment in Vicenza, Italy. I also have made friends with fellow CSers in Veneto. Now I live in Downtown Minneapolis.
If you are looking for me to host you, it is better to ask me a week or so in advance. I have a sporadic schedule and can sometimes host on very short notice, it depends on my work obviously. I hope to meet many more awesome people!! :) I love to meet travelers and help them out!

I have so many favorite movies!! Here's a few: The Birdcage, Lord of the Rings, The Beginners, The Big Lebowski, Shawshank Redemption, Glory, Catch-22, Bridge on the River Kwai, Mambo Italiano, the list goes on and on...
Books: again so many, here are my favorite authors- Christopher Hitchens, JRR Tolkien, Dan Brown, Tim McCrieght

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the most amazing mountains in New Zealand, beautiful waterfalls in Iceland, gorgeous landscapes of France, incredible cities in Italy, unforgettable coasts in Greece, perfect sunsets in the Middle East... I love to travel and experience the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to know how people grew up, I studied sociology at university. There is much to learn from the people you meet while traveling. I can teach possibly a little about cooking, food, wine, jewelry, etc. There's lots to know about Italy and specifically Vicenza, the area I live in. I can possibly give you some good advice if you are going to travel places I have been...and I would like to hear from you and where you've been! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

With my hosts I am always willing to share anything I listed above but above all when people are hosting me or both of us, I clean up after myself and can help you with anything around your place. If my host wants to visit Minneapolis in the future, then I will gladly share my home with them :)
