About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life's too short to stay still.

ABOUT ME

I am a thirtysomething (where has the time gone) professional working and living in Toronto, Canada, my hometown.

In the time between work, I like to travel as much as I can and experience what the world has to offer. As cliched as it sounds, I do find that it is not typically the destination but usually the journey that is memorable. The people I've met, the funny/awkward/strange/embarassing/slightly dangerous situations I find myself in, the food, the sights... Those are what stay in my mind long after the trip is done.

I'd like to think I'm a tremendously easy person to get along with, does not take myself too seriously, am absolutely spontaneous to a fault and generally quite fun to be around with. At the same time, I'm quite focus during my worktime and try to be as much a consumate professional as I can.

I intend to meet like minded and/or not-so-like minded folks in my travels, because after all, each individual experience teaches us something new about ourselves.

Hope to run into you in our journeys!

Cheers.

PHILOSOPHY

Have your sad/depressed/angry/disappointing/frustrated moments, get over them and never wallow in them again. My personal philosophy is to be happy 95% of the time and deal with the other things the other 5%.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will try and host when I can, as well as provide any members with tips/information regarding the city I'm living in, or the cities I've been to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was backpacking through Europe for about 2 months in Sept 2010 and couchsurfed my way through the first month of my trip. I had the great fortune of having some amazing hosts, and saw first hand what a truly brilliant way to travel this is.

I've since hosted as well and will continue to do so as well as spreading the gospel that is Couchsurfing!
