About Me

Music is my inspiration and food is my passion along with common philanthropy. New people and places are interesting and help make life more fulfilling. Travel helps build who we are and the experiences contribute to who we’re to become. As I surrender the years of my youth I consider the time we have and how it’s value matters to us : ) It would be great if we have a few similar interest or if not even better, an opportunity to teach and learn from each other!

My Interest/Experiences:
-Hiking through California,
-Acting/cooking in Miami,
-Camping in Northern California
-Backpacking through Central America.
-Curate Earth Day events that engage youth and adults in healthy/horticulture/organic practices.
-Climbing Half Dome in Yosemite.
-Starting non-profits.
-Screaming on Mt. Fugiyama (worlds tallest rollercoaster) in Japan.
-Pacific Crest Trail
-Coachella, Outsidelands, EDC, Burning Man, VooDoo, + All Food & Music Festivals
-Volunteering as staff at Burning Man in Nevada
-Clean Vibes Volunteer
-Hitchhiked from Guatemala to California in under 28 days!

A few years ago I decided to come to roost in my hometown of Stockton, opened a successful café, then moved to Sacramento to become the Executive Chef for a popular entertainment venue in Folsom, right near the famous Johnny Cash Trail and Folsom Prison!
Recently I moved to San Diego to open two more entertainment venues in La Jolla and Gaslamp.

I’m happy to say that I’m well on my way to getting back on the road soon! However, in the meantime, I currently have the perfect opportunity to welcome guest and fellow travelers to my place in Pacific Beach!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is the best way to meet locals, and see how they live. Couchsurfing is a fantastic way to submerge yourself in a desired destination's culture. Hotels limit the ability to genuinely get to know locals! Also being a budget traveler, free and good accommodation is always appreciated in exchange for great company, help with house or business and anything else.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music sparks the heart (experimental, deep house, funk, disco, edm, real hip-hop, rock, classics) Independent movies and short films are best (Short of the Week, Wes Anderson- Tarantino.) Fictional books are what I like mostly (Aesop Fables), Juxtapoz magazine is pretty good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meet and Greet backstage tour after KA Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vagas!

Teach, Learn, Share

Japanese culinary and butchery.
I can show you how to make Sushi.
Share travel stories.
Would love to learn about your life philosophy!
In essence to not look at the glass as half empty or half full, rather refillable!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Experiences, memories, friendly face, house chores, company for outings and last but definitely not least, I WILL COOK FOR YOU!!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Japan, Mexico
