Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Building community and supporting youth and families.
ABOUT ME
I work full time with At-risk youth and their families through the court system, mentorship and applied theatre for social change.
I am continuing the legacy of my families' land. Being the fifth generation on Marrowstone island, I am getting the place fixed up and ready for the sixth.
PHILOSOPHY
We are all doing the best we can with our limited and imperfect resources in service to our needs.
Healing where we can, mourning the gap between the truth and the reality of the world, connecting and reconnecting to ourselves and the other, and moving forward step by step.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I travel. When I have a home, I host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started off with Servas, a paper-based hosting service that came out of WW2 and the desire to prevent war. After, I joined Hospitality Club and did a lot of travelling via HC, including big meetups and ambassadorship. Once Couchsurfing became the main medium, I got in deep. I've made lots of friends and travelled to many countries with CS.
