COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a lot, and surfed a little ! I love the CS concept, not only because it makes travels cheaper, but also because it allows to meet people and share experiences. It's always better to hear about the place you're visiting from someone who lives there, rather than from a tourist's guide !

I'm into sports a lot : basketball, running, biking, bouldering, swimming, skiing, hiking, etc. I've also been an amateur photographer for years, but not that much lately... I'm also a convinced ecologist, and have started a local group of the Incredible Edible worldwide movement in my hometown (the goal is to plant fruits and vegetables in the public space for everyone). I'm interested in all forms of urban agriculture, the Cities in transition movement, etc. I like politics, culture, history... I try to keep learning things all the time !

Riding a lost track in the Andes with a rental Ford Fiesta, definitely not adapted for the quality of the track. Almost broke the car and remained stuck there, in the middle of nowhere, with one truck passing every 3 days. The scenery was absolutely amazing though : surrounded by mountains and volcanoes, with the sun setting, a salted laguna in the distance, and nobody miles around : silence.
