ABOUT ME

This used to be Johnny's profile only, but now that I'm married and have three kids (born 2011, 2015, and 2017), there are five of us. We live in a small town at the border to Bavaria.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live simply. This includes having few things, consuming little and finding joy in the simple things.

But don't expect some kind of hermit ;-)

I've been a member since many years, so I have quite a few experiences as surfer and as host, most of them really positive.

My favourite author is Stefan Zweig. I also really like the poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke, who was born on the same day as me (different year ;-)
