About Me
Hi! I'm Luis. I'm a guy with a great sense of humor and I avoid the problems and concerns. My head never stops rotating, and I travel more in imagination than in reality.
Born in Madrid, yet I refuse to leave this beautiful city as so many young people have already done!
Bachelor of Journalism, working as Community Manager in an association of advertising, and I'm teacher of Spanish language and literature at a high school (for teenagers who fail the course).
My real passion is radio and 50's & 60's music, and I also work occasionally as a rock & roll DJ in some places in the center of Madrid!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here because a "couchsurfer-friend" told me I was an excellent host and cook. And also told me that I should be in couchsurfing because people could enjoy a lot my home, and spend time with me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not too reader, but I have clear that the best book I've read in my life is: "Of Love and Other Demons" (Gabriel García Márquez)
Movies: The City Of Lost Children (of Jean Pierre Jeunet, my favourite movie), The Fifth Element (Luc Besson), Starship Troopers (Paul Verhoeven), American Beauty (Sam Mendes)... I really love cinema! Specially Science-Fiction cinema.
Shows: X-Files, American Horror Story, Californication... but I don't see much televisón...
Music: Difficult and too long answer ... I love the music of the 50s, rockabilly, rhythm & blues, northern rock & roll (Bill Haley, Jimmy Cavallo, Charlie Feathers, Tommy Steele, Cliff Richard, Jackie Wilson, Johnny Guitar Watson. ..) the Spanish music of the 60s (Dynamic Duo, Los Sirex, Los Angeles, Los Salvajes ...), and country and rock & roll current Spanish (Charlie Hightone, the Widow Makers, Boo Devils ...)
But I love a lot of music! New Wave, Reggae, Soul, Disco...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I could say that travel to Vietnam to visit my best friend who lives there. But trips are trips, anyone can do it. Best I can say I've run my own music radio show for 5 years, or a few years ago I worked as a voice-over actor.
Teach, Learn, Share
