Hi! My name is João, nice to meet you.

I'm in this continuous process of discovering new possibilities and ways to live a more fair and beautiful life; a life that worthwhile.

I could say that I'm respectful, calm, positive, easygoing and open minded guy.

In Brasil, I used to run a social project for youth in a favela of São Paulo and at night doing psychoanalytic therapy. So important, fundamental and nice experience.

But, something was calling me to something new. The direction was: outside.

So, I did it.
Took my backpack, the guitar and went to the road hichhicking. It was in february of 2016.
In the end of 2018, I will complete this big page of my life in a Ashram in Rishquesh, India.
And come back to Brasil.

Not an ending, but a beginning of a new life that fits me more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I knew CS with friends in Brasil, we used to receive people, this blows my mind, "this kind of thing survives in 21 century?¨
So I'm so grateful to travel with the opportunity to share a litte piece of time with people all over the world.

Interests

Always changing, following the curiosity.
Now developing a spirituality after a great time just with the rational thinking. Doing meditation, writing songs and reading healing stuff.

I like to think this between individual-society, how to live harmoniously together.

Decelerate the "changing the world" thing to gear a "changing myself" thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling/Living a long time hichhiking, busking, crossing countries and knowing people. Allowing me to change myself and face the fears.

I travel with the guitar and tarot deck, so if you wanna a reading or a song, we can do it!

Usually I cook some brasilian food. I do Rice and Beans, Strogonoff (not from Brasil but very common there) and Brigadeiro (success among the couchsurfers! Hahah).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Drink some beer, talk and have a good time.
