About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world, to gain perspective, to meet the rest of the human whole.

ABOUT ME

I am a wandering 27 year old musician, making friends and testing the patience of his mother. I am currently mired in Tahoe City, California, with two jobs of minimal pay. I am looking to touch back on the Colorado roots and work in a real economy to support my coming tour in May.

PHILOSOPHY

If you stay too long in once place for too long, odds are you'll miss something somewhere else.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Back when I had the swankest apartment on the coast of Maine, I met and hosted several couch surfers. Alas, that apartment is gone, and I've been inconsolable, roadbound ever since. I'd offer a pad in the back of my truck, but it's a bit cold and not soft.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing experiences have been great ones! I've yet to crash too many couches, but I gave my couch willingly on several occasions. Two former surfers are still close friends of mine.

Interests

Music! Skiing, rock climbing, sailing, traveling, writing and reading are all great parts of my day, but music, either making it or taking it in, is what drags my bum out of bed in the morning.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Limey, Finding Nemo, old Steve McQueen flicks

Bob Dylan, Dr. Dog, Mars Volta and Bon Iver

The Fountainhead, Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates, A Man Without a Country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have climbed a few good mountains, sailed some decent distances, and travelled through all but four of the United States.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach guitar at any level.
If you've got a boat, I can teach you how to sail it.
Should your house fall down, I can help you build it back.
And if a wild deer breaks into your abode in the night, trashes your living room before getting caught and perishing in the fireplace, I will show you how to gut a deer.

Countries I’ve Visited

Greece, Peru, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
