About Me
CURRENT MISSION
On a trip around the world filling my head and my hands with skills, and ideas
ABOUT ME
After living in Brooklyn for three years, I decided I wanted to work towards living a little more directly with our food and the natural environment. So, I took off to explore the rest of the country and world in order to figure out where I want to settle while learning about sustainable living.
I have been on the road now for 3 years and have done heaps of work exchange along with many workshops and courses attaining to permaculture, yoga, beekeeping, gardening, sustainability ect. Most of my knowledge has been hands on and I love to share what I have learned in exchange for more skills and knowledge.
I have completed my PDC course and also am a certified yoga instructor. I recently did a 6 month apprenticeship beekeeping and have set up market/community gardens in different parts of the world in varied climates using many alternative methods.
I love to learn and am keen to continuing my journey on the good graces of hosts everywhere :)
PHILOSOPHY
I appreciate technology and modern conveniences but I think we tend to use them for substitutes, of genuine human connections and as excuses for not becoming self reliant individuals, capable of taking care of ourselves and our environment. I think that "the good life" comes from finding a balance. Lets learn to use technology as a tool to expand to reach further, to connect with more people, and not as a wall keeping us safe, clean, and apart from this fantastic, messy, germ-filled, sometimes risky, magical world we live in.
