Overview
About Me
Hello! I'm Johnny (he/they), a rising 4th-year med student in Brooklyn, NY.
Background: Spent most of 2017-2018 in Japan first as an exchange student in Tokyo, graduating from undergrad at the conclusion of that semester, then working as an English teacher up in Sapporo for a year, which is where I embarked on my journey with Couchsurfing. After that, I traveled around Southeast Asia for about 2 months. I’d be happy to share my tons of food pics and amazing memories from those magical times if you plan to go there some day :)
This year I’ll be applying to residency in psychiatry. Mental health is everything! Proponent of trauma-informed care and human rights 🌈
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling and meeting people from all over the world, and I think Couchsurfing is an amazing and innovative way to form connections and build relationships, all while opening unlocked doors in this incredible place we all call home.
