ABOUT ME

I play music in bands including Salsa Celtica, Hue and Cry and I am AKA Far In Jim (YouTube). My career in music has taken me to many places around the world and continues to do so. I like spending time with creative, lovely, funny people and good musicians possess these qualities. Sometimes when my work is done I stay on in far flung, exotic locations.
I also play in Rapido Mariachi, Scotland's only mariachi band whee my nickname is El Pensativo. This alludes to people thinking I'm a very serious person when they meet me but that's not the whole story at all. I've a keen sense of humour and I like a bit of silliness.
