HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the idea of couchsurfing, and I would enjoy hosting/feeding people, but I travel a lot for work. Hopefully it'll work out someday.

I'm planning a trip to the northeast and Quebec next year, so it would be great to meet people from that area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before I had joined couchsurfing.org, my best couchsurfing type of experience was over in Kenya. I had showed up to do work at a technical college, and one of the teachers - who was a complete stranger - gave me a place to stay for the week.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The sun setting over the Sahara, thunderstorm in the Masai Mara, sunrise in the Badlands, late night motorcycle ride through Cache de la Poudre Canyon in the rain, canoeing the first 70 miles of the Mississippi, hitchhiking with zombie film crew across Vieques Island

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I redesign buildings to conserve energy for a living, so I can definitely teach people about energy conservation.

I love cooking too, which is an endless cycle of learning, sharing, and teaching. I'm trying to learn how to cook middle eastern food better right now.
