Long story short- I renovated and restored a farmhouse and reside on a farm known as the J.R ranch which is on the outskirts of Shannon town. I have the best of two worlds- I live in the countryside and are a short road trip by car to every amenity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing was recommended to me by a friend, I thought it would be a cool way to meet new people and make contacts for traveling the world. I'm making an effort to travel more and preferably i hope to host guests who can return the favour of Couchsurfing hospitality where i host you in Ireland and you host me in your home country.

So far I've hosted around 20 plus guests from all around the world at my home which has being an fun experience. I've had guests write me really nice references which you can read for yourself in the references section to get an idea of what it would be like to stay at my home or host me as a guest.

Interests

I'm a self thought artist have painted wall murals of the Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, Big Bang Theory and Mario Kart. See photos for photographic evidence.

I'm an active member at my local gym known as Rhyno's fitness studio and can get you a guestpass if you want to maintain your fitness while on holiday.

I enjoy socialising and hanging out with friends. I'll be more than happy to bring couchsurfing guests out to socialise with the locals and experience an Irish pint at one of the local pubs and nightclubs.

I also like to hang out with guests back at my crib to play some table tennis, pool, or some old school Nintendo.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I enjoy listening to music and going to gigs and concerts and have seen Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol, Lady Gaga, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Paolo Nutini, The Killers, Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Avril Lavigne, Rubberbandits, Scouting for Girls, Saw Docters perform live.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was an extra in the French comic book live action movie "Asterix and Obelix God Save Britannia" playing a Scotsman wearing a kilt and sporting long hair held in with pins and a glued on moustache. In which I got to fight the Romans with my childhood heroes of Asterix and Obelix. I was a big fan of the Asterix comicbooks growing up, having regularly got them out on loan from my local library, so being in the movie was a huge deal for me.
