Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to Couchsurfing, but looking forward to meeting others through Couchsurfing who have an appreciation for travel and for travelers. I don't have a place of my own to offer at the moment, but at some point hopefully I'll be able to do so.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been to a number of weekly Couchsurfing meetings with my roommate, and I stayed about one week in San Pedro de Atacama, which was a great experience. I enjoyed seeing all the sites in the area, and it was great getting to go with Martin and his friends to a couple places. I was able to climb a mountain with them, which was great.
Interests
I like hiking, most sports, and joking around with friends. I also enjoy challenging myself mentally, through things like word games, crossword puzzles, reading, and strategy board games. Me gusta el trekking, la mayoria de deportes, y bromear con mis amigos. Tambien me gustan desafios mentales, como juegos de palabras y de la mesa y con leer diferentes cosas.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movies are Batman Begins, The Shawshank Redemption, basically anything by Pixar, and Stalag 17 (an old movie about American POW's). I love reading lots of things, particularly science fiction, anything by C.S. Lewis, and novels by Michael Crichton and John Grisham. I like most music, but my favorites would probably be alternative rock and classical.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been privileged to have a number of exciting experiences in my lifetime, but probably the one that stands out the most was when I got to backcountry ski at Loveland Pass in Colorado by the light of the full moon. It was pretty amazing to me that we could see well enough by the moonlight reflecting off the snow to navigate skiing terrain that would have been fairly difficult even in the daytime.
