I'm looking for opportunities to have adventures around the states while I transition from schooling to career.

ABOUT ME

Depending on who you ask I'm relaxed and positive, or quiet and attentive, or funny and confident, or the 'stoic philosopher type'. They all work.

I prefer meaningful interactions to specious ones. For example, I'd rather have a good conversation over drinks with a few people than getting shit faced at a club with a bunch of strangers. I'd rather walk to quiet little known places than go to any of the 'must sees' of an area.

... Instead, dreams are truly honored when made into reality. Stuck inside your head they find no real existence, flitting in and out of you awareness, never to find the lasting stability of reality. To truly be loyal to them is to honor their pleas to be made real. To be just is to do what is necessary to discern the greatest of them and clear for it a path towards our world. To act becomes the ultimate freedom. Moving forward is not then in acknowledgement of the inevitable obligation to reality. Moving forward in life, taking action, becomes our most powerful tool to realize and fulfill our most beautiful dreams: dreams of righteousness and harmony, possibility and empowerment. A most intimate fidelity to love of goodness. Where every action must feel right and powerful in adherence to the best of all possible worlds, the one that is coming inevitably.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking to surf now and invest in new relationships. I have a broad knowledge of many different subjects and some good ole 'Minnesota Nice' for good conversation. Bonus points if you know the phrase.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The closest I've come to couchsurfing was taking rideshares off of craiglist to visit a friend down in Albuquerque, New Mexico on my way out to San Francisco for my nephew's baptism. I really enjoyed everyone I met.

Interests

I'm a Minneapolis Biker. Coldest Metropolitan area in the US with a #1 bike scene. I love music, love to sing. I exercise pretty regularly. I worked at a school the past couple years and love kids. Now I volunteer with my old employer, PPL, and with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Mostly outdoor activities take up my free time: swimming, grilling, camping, ice skating, x-country skiing, sledding. Having a drink with friends is pretty common activity too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To backpack Solo in Glacier National Park is an enlightening experience. To tear up and buckle at the knees from singing is an awe inspiring experience. To have a child cling to you for safety and comfort is a heart melting eperience. To stand down a man with a gun and have no fear is an empowering experience. To hold a woman in love is a joyfilled experience. To see your family and friends grow in life is a wonderful experience.
