ABOUT ME

I am very outgoing. I love seeing history, museums, and anything unique during the day and partaking in the clubs / bars at night. I am also an outdoors man. I find thrills in skydiving, snowboarding, hiking, water sports, and sports. I play volleyball so if there is a beach and a court i am always interested to play. I enjoy cooking and always looking to expand my creativity with different culture's food.

An important note for surfers. I only take those who put time and effort into the couchsurfing community. For newbies that don't have references, the least you can do is to put a lot of effort into your profile. If you do not take the time to tell me why you would be a good fit to stay with me, then I won't take the time to tell why you are not a good fit.

If you live with regret you constantly re-infect yourself, If you live for tomorrow you cannot experience today. So I live in the moment, like in a bubble that cuts me out of the past and future and allows me to enjoy life as I live it.

Nothing is good or bad, but how we perceive it makes it so. Our mind can be our worst enemy if we do not realize how to control it, turn every situation into a positive aspect.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love making a connection with other open-minded people, and being a couchsurfer and letting a stranger stay with you is being very open-minded. In my opinion, seeing a city from the local perspective is way more exciting and opens the culture of the city than froma tourist perspective.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was gifted with an amazing introduction with couchsurfing from my first 2 hosts during my eurotrip which made Brussells and Garmisch-Partenkirchen incredible experiences. Since then I have been open to surfing in the areas that I live. I travel frequently for work and try to take advantage of being in a city and meeting couchsurfers.

Now that I am out of school and have more free time, I allocate a lot of time to invest in myself. Every day my goal is to go to bed a better person than when I woke up. I find interests in body language, verbal communication, personal finance, acoustic guitar, storytelling, creative writing, cultures and languages and many more. One thing I enjoy is learning something from a different culture, a unique skill or just something cool in general. For example, my time in Germany I learned how to open a beer bottle with another beer bottle or learned to use chopsticks in China. They are anchors that remind me of my experiences in those countries, meeting people there etc.

I will do my best to make the surfer's visit an amazing experience. I live in Old town which is a great neighborhood of Chicago and love showing off things that would interest the people visiting. You like night life, so do I so I will show you my favorite bars. You love archictecture, art, history, not my strongsuit but I am always open to experience what someone else has a passion for.
