I'm very laid back, enjoy hanging out with friends, and meeting new people. Living in Italy over the past few months has been amazing because I have met so many unique and interesting people.

Try not to let anything bother you too much, especially things out of your control.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Friends in my appartment have hosted 4 people so far. Two guys from Argentina and two girls from Switzerland.
I had fun showing them around Rome and learning about their cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only experienced couchsurfing twice, both times it was very entertaining and educational. The first couchsurfers we ever hosted were from Argentina and in a band together. We had similar music tastes and my brother and I had a lot of fun playing guitar with them. They introduced us to Yerba Mate, the tea you drink out of a gourd, and I drink it nearly every day now.
We just recently hosted two girls from Switzerland who brought us excelent Swiss chocolate. They were perfect guests and very respectful. We had a lot of fun going out with them and trading stories about where we were from.

Intereses

I enjoy guitar (only been playing about a year), soccer, volleyball, ping pong, poker, throwing pottery, learning and reading about history (especially ancient Roman), arguing about religion, traveling, and my beautiful girlfriend.

I have an appreciation for most styles of music (not including country) and enjoy going to concerts and live performances.

I love history and enjoy sharing my knowledge of the past with others. It goes without saying that I also like to learn from new people about the history and practices of their culture. I find it fascinating to hear and share stories, personal experiences, and life lessons people have to offer from all parts of the world. I like explaining and learning the differences and similarities between the United States and other countries to better understand how people live and interact with each other. I am just starting to grasp how large the world really is and how many interesting people there are who want to interact and learn from eachother. It is very exciting.
