About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy life to its fullest. experiencing new cultures, new languages and meeting new people
ABOUT ME
I'm an easy going, outdoors lover, always up for a laugh, or a beer while swapping travelling stories. I finished my Outdoor Education degree a few years ago, and I decided to head overseas for some adventures. That was 2009, and I'm still going strong. I love anything outdoorsy like hiking, kayaking and frisbee but my main passion is climbing. I live by a "try anything once" attitude and that itself has seen me into some interesting times. I'm an adrenalin junkie and I find it really hard to sit still.
I get along with pretty much everyone and just love having a good time!
PHILOSOPHY
Live Life! Enjoy everything that you do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I'm travelling my way across Canada so my participation is limited to Surfing at the moment. Hopefully come winter, I'll be more established and be able to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have just started my Couch Surfing experience, loving meeting new people and sharing stories over some beers (or a cup of tea) while getting to see some amazing places.
Interests
My main interest is anything to do with the outdoors, such as - travelling, back packing, hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, hackysack, slack lining, snowboarding, white water rafting. I'm also a frisbee expert.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first thing that comes to mind for an "amazing thing" would have to be when I was in Malawi, camping in a wildlife reserve, I was rudely awoken by a grunting and loud puffing noise. I carefully open my tent door and peer out to find that we're completely surrounded by hippos!!! 5 Big fat hippos. All of us at risk of being squashed with any move of these things. Next time I'll choose a campsite a little more carefully...

Teach, Learn, Share
At the moment, I seem to be spending a lot of time fixing misconceptions people have about Australians... No. Kangaroos are not pets.
Also, if anyone is keen to run around in the park, I've always got my frisbee at hand. And if I can teach my girlfriend how to throw, I can pretty much teach anyone.
