About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet and accomidate the travelers of the world, seekers of truth, and to learn how to cook their food!

ABOUT ME

For starters, I'm a very hospitable person. I'm 1/2 Indian & grew up in the Southeastern USA (the two most hospitable classes on earth).

I'm a wiseguy / smartass... I like a good party & antics, but I'm "cultured" and appreciate the finer things. I've traveled the world fairly extensively and carried on around the USA.

PHILOSOPHY

1.) Always get 10 hours of sleep.

2.) Never play cards with a person that has the first name of a city.

3.) Never date a woman with a tattoo of a dagger anywhere on her body.

~Teen Wolf

4.) Everyone needs to believe in something, I believe I'll have another drink!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a good home & I have the space to hook cool people up with shelter and two sofas. I know tons about New York & I like to share that with people (so they don't get stuck doing all the lame tourist stuff). I know how it is to travel and get stuck spending all your money on hotels and / or get stuck in hostels with freaks and hostel-dwellers... so I hope to help people get a taste of the big city properly & if one day the favor is returned then awesome!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Generally pretty good. When I couch surf I have a rule of thumb, I pay for all the beer & keep things nice and clean and things go well. I've made many great friends from traveling around and being out of my element. At this stage my element is to be "out of my element". I really haven't had too many bad experiences... I've had some boring ones, but more often than not they've been great... after all, I was on vacation!

Interests

Seriously, everything. That's what makes life fun, giving it all a try. But definitely sports, swimming, cooking, painting / drawing, movies, music (live espeically, all kinds), Budweiser, Whiskey, surfing, and Practical Jokes!

Music, Movies, and Books

Being as I make 'em it's tough, you'll just have to ask.

Classic Rock, country, soul, funk, Motörhead... Karaoke!

I love Vonnegut, but who doesn't, the guy saw truth. Just finished Ironweeds (amazing, powerful book), all sorts of philosophy, sci-fi, cook books...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw the Dalai Lama speak in the morning (he was cracking a lot of jokes surprisingly!) and attended a WWE Professional Wrestling event in the same evening in Chicago (the WWE Title changed hands!).

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about a lot. It's tough to say. I travel by the seat of my pants even at home, so I end up in unique situations pretty often. I have a killer memory, so I remember and learn from that.
