Currently fulfilling my teenage dream of becoming a surf bum in Southern California.

ABOUT ME

I'm a verifiable goofball who loves to try everything. Been living a nomadic lifestyle the past several years including medium-term stays in Austin, Chicago and now San Diego. I've also spent 9 months in the past two years living out of an RV an/or a Jeep. Currently situated on the beach.

I've been a lifelong entrepreneur starting with selling dubbed CD's of albums I downloaded from the internet when I was in high school. I ran a software consulting firm in Baltimore for 7 years right out of college. And now I create documentary/travelogue television for the cable and the web. Think along the lines of Anthony Bourdain. It's super fun and I'd love to tell you about it.

I like to socialize and surf. When I have a couch to offer (which isn't the case now), I'm happy to share.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few meetups and informal stays. I'm new to the site, but not the lifestyle. Just last year I visited 20 major US metropolises traveling for 4.5 months living out of a Jeep and I never once stayed in a hotel. I was born a couchsurfer but only just realized it.

Interessen
