About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find myself...... somewhere else.

ABOUT ME

I'm too relaxed. I trust you until you do something wrong, and then I still trust you for no good reason. I'm doing everything I can to hop out of the States and experience the world on the other side of the television screen. I'm a musician, jazz saxophone and casual guitar and drums. I love anything that has to do with abstract creation, as long as there is direction behind it. I believe that there is such a thing as "Good" and "Bad" art. My favorite thing about the world so far is language, but we'll see if that changes after I've met you!

PHILOSOPHY

This is much better discussed on the couch with a bottle of wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

ENTHUSIASM! I see many many many years of surfing and hosting in the future :D

I tell everyone I know about the CS2 project.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None officially. Off the record, I've spent most of the time since summer 2008 so far sleeping on couches and in spare rooms.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies have become my favorite way to listen to different language so it's been all foreign films lately.

I usually listen to FUNKY music from the 1970's and 1980's. Earth Wind and Fire, The Meters, James Brown, etc. Jazz and rock from the 1970's and 80's also interest me as well as alternative groups such as Dave Matthews Band and Indochine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was pooped on by group of howler monkeys (Alouatta palliata) in a rain forest in Costa Rica over winter break 2007/2008. It was the best experience of my life :D!
