Overview
About Me
I really enjoy learning and advancing my way of thinking through talking with new people. I spent a lot of time working part-time between high school and university education - during that time I was able to decide on what I'd like out of my future. Funny thing is, it still seems to be changing ever so slightly day by day. Currently, I am a Computer Science and Painting double major and I am pursuing more education in Virtual and Augmented Reality. Despite what I throw my energy at, I have found that good times with friends is what truly makes me happy in life.
My recent truth / philosophy of life:
Goodness does exist in this world and it can be spread.
Resolve: Fill the world with goodness or die trying.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had a chance to do my first couch surfing when I traveled to Istanbul and it was a really fantastic experience. I want to share great conversation with people being authentic. I want to learn and gain wisdom from every one I meet if I can :-)
Interests
I'm interested in art of all kinds - music, painting, sculpture and more. As far as traveling goes, I enjoy trekking, visiting historical sites or museums, eating cultural foods and drinking a coffee or beer at a cool cafe or bar with some friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy alternative bands such as Bombay Bicycle Club, Mute Math, Radiohead, Acollective, Alt-j, Modest Mouse and much, much more.
My favorite movies are Fight Club, The Dark Knight and Marvel movies such as The Guardians of the Galaxy.
Favorite books include Jurassic Park, They Cage the Animals at Night, Fight Club (again), Dragon Age books, The Legend of Drizzt trilogy and graphic novels like Y: The Last Man.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've spent twelve months doing service work through a program called AmeriCorps NCCC - which is similar to a domestic version of the Peace Corps but team-based and travel-based.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some art techniques, English language and I can also teach some cooking techniques.
I would like to continue to learn the Italian language, I am interested in learning more about anything related to art or computer programming and I am especially interested in learning about the places I visit.
I enjoy sharing life stories and opening my mind to new prospectives and ways of thinking - I find it enlightening.
