ABOUT ME

My real name is Johana, but couchsurfing won't let me change it from my nickname :)
I like travelling, history, nature and new experiences. I work as a nature conservationist (with our own herd of asylum goats and sheeps) and partially also as environmentalist on Czech Academy of Science. But I prefer much more field work outside :) I also have dog and very hostile cat :)

IMPORTANT: I have also lots of activities and work to do, so I don't offer a guide around a city or a night in a pub, just accomodation - so please don't expect a much care about you, you must take care about yourself... Also I live with my brother and mother, which I care for, so I accept guest only for night, just to sleep and wash, because I'm unable to give you more attention.

PHILOSOPHY

Ahinsa:) I'm environmentalist, veg(etari)an*, animal nad nature lover. I'm kind of introvert and shy hippie :D
(* I eat dairy and eggs, but only from animals from small farms where they enjoy living outside, not terrible factory farms)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was member of couchsurfing for some time. Then I switch to Trustroost, which I really like, but I came back to couchsurfing after all too. This sharing acomodation is really good idea, I love it! :) I like the idea of offering place to stay somebody - why should they give money for accomodation, if there are some many more interesting things (or more likely experiences) to spend money on.
All my experiences with couchsurfers - as host or as a hosting person was great, so I'm looking forward for next :)

Interests

So many...I think that everything could be interesting (maybe except math:)). But the biggest hobbies for me are nature, ecology, animals, photographing, travelling, hitchiking, trekking, geocaching, history, reading and my dog, cat and herd of sheeps and goats, which we use for nature conservation.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many...I'm listening lots of different music of any kinds, but Queen, Nick Cave, Patti Smith and The Velvet Undergound are my love :)
And books? I'm crazy reader, I have book always with me. All styles: clasics, fantasy (love Pratchett), historical, adventure, biographies...and lots more...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One crazy summer in 2015...Together with my friend,we hitchhike through Slovenia to Adriatic sea, spend a little time in cities and vilages at the coast, and than came back. It was really awesome journey, full of fantastic people and experiences :) After month later, we hitchhike with my other friend to the Baltic sea, slept on the beaches, roamed on the coast and it was maybe even more amazing than trip before...And this awesome summer ends with the best trip of my life, when I was for five weeks travelling around north Peru and Ecuador. I saw deserts, mountains, jungles and met lots of wonderful people. So many experiences, really lifechanging journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I can tell you something about dog training, ecology, enviroment...
I would like to learn more spanish, so if anybody want to speak with me in this beautiful language (in which I am really, really bad) I would be verry happy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Right now is our house under reconstruction, so I can offer you a place to sleep and shower, not much more.
Please, expect that I probably won't have time to attend to you, thank you for understanding.
