ABOUT ME

We live in Porto Alegre and love to travel. My brother told me about CS and we decided to try it.In 2011, we went to Costa Rica with our big backpacks and stayed at hostels... it was fun.Last year (2012), we went to Europe and enjoyed the CS adventure, meeting several new interesting people. We are both open to meet new people and discover new cultures.This year (2013) we'll go to California, Nevada, Arizona and hope to enjoy the same experience in USA.We want to travel, but also have our house open to host surfers in this kind of new experience. We both work... so, our home is ready to accommodate surfers only in the end of the day on weekdays, but we might arrange our schedules if we can.Both of us work in IT and love love to learn and share all kind of subjects... it's always good to be open to what others has to say.We are hoping to share as many experiences as we can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Traveling and hosting... don't have to be exacly in this order :))We like to plan ahead of time when we are visiting a new place like independent travelers. We don't expect to anyone to act like a tourist guide, but share the knowledge about the good stuff to see and (if you have time) walk arround with us :) We are open for suggestions and guidance of places to visit and we like to know new people and share our experiences... that's the beauty of CS. For our surfers we give freedom and respect their whishes. We can give some tips about our city depending on the kind of traveler you are. If possible, we can show you some traditional things about the south of Brazil. This is a good way to travel without leaving home :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We hosted a few couples so far. Traveled to Europe in CS mode and it was great!!

Interests

Visiting parks, beaches, soccer games, drinking beer, enjoying a good meal, cooking Brazilian barbecue, making caipirinhas (summer drink), watching movies and sometimes do nothing at all :)

I can teach you how to make brazilian caipirinhas and barbecue.. leaning from hosts and surfer as many as we can about their cultures.
