Overview
About Me
I have recently graduated after 5 years of university with a Masters in Civil and Structrual engineering. I have 7 months until I start employment and am travelling around Europe making the most of my new found freedom.
I’m super chilled out and love having a laugh with whoever I’m with. I absolutely love humans and am super excited to discover how people love their lives in their own homes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was recommended couch surfing by a few friends and I have only heard positive reviews about it. I am super keen to join the community and hopefully be able to share my own experiences and memories from this and host in the future once I have settled in my new job.
Although I’m a fan of meeting people in hostels, this doesn’t feel as genuine compared to spending time with locals and discovering their way life. This is the way I would prefer to travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In April this year I completed a Charity Hitchhike from Sheffield, UK to Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania in just 9 days.
As part of the largest student-led hitchhike in the world, me and my friend Ed managed to make it all the way to Transylvania by relying solely on the kindness of strangers.
We met some truly beautiful people along the way and made some crazy memories in the most unexpected places.
All funds raised were for 5 great local sheffield charities and in total we raised over £40,000 between us. Meaning this year the hitchhike raised its millionth pound for charity
What I Can Share with Hosts
My friends describe me as outgoing, chatty and hilarious. I always have something to share and say on any particular topic and am always interested to see what other people provide towards different subjects. Being able to have a quality chat about anything or nothing in particular is something I can revise as well as good company to have around.
As well as this, I loved abroad in New Zealand for a year and travelled the country over the course of it. For those interested in visiting, I can provide tips and advice for those who are interested in visiting.
