About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make the absolute most of my 20s before fully committing to any one place, thing, or person. To experience, experience, experience.
ABOUT ME
Creative, musical, spontaneous, impulsive, open-minded, sense of humor of a 12-year-old, not quite an introvert but not quite an extrovert, passionate, the ultimate procrastinator but when I love/get into something I am 100% dedicated and motivated (I can't stop a task once I start it).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed a few times in Israel and Vienna - everybody was incredibly kind and generous, and I'm so looking forward to having more experiences.
Interests
MUSIC! Teaching it, playing it (I'm good at piano and oh so mediocre at guitar and cello), writing it, singing it, listening to it, reinterpreting it, sharing it.....
HARMONIZING. And teaching others how to harmonize. If I do say so myself, I am a harmonizing beast. I can/will harmonize to anything. A song, the washing machine. Whatever. (You can check out music at www.youtube.com/joannaschubertmusic!)
FOOD. All the food. And a huge lover of wine and cheese. The more cheese the merrier. If you have cheese and bread, I will cook you the best grilled cheese of your life.
Walking around. I absolutely love walking around any city for hours - best way to explore/get to know a new city. Being spontaneous. In any capacity. I'm constantly down to try new things and meet new people (and now, explore new places).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Several years ago, for the CIT (counselor-in-training) program at the camp I used to go to, 12 of us went on a 9-day hike. And it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The bonds you create with people over the course of 9 delirious days in the woods (the most natural high) are indescribable. Dried granola for breakfast, pepperoni and crackers for lunch, and instant mac & cheese for dinner. So bad.. and so good. Hiking around 50 miles when, at that point (...and still), I'm out of breath after a flight of steps. And seeing the sun rise from the top of a mountain.. mmm.
