About Me
CURRENT MISSION
finding out what my mission is, and making this odyssey one worth living for
ABOUT ME
I tend to think I don't know myself enough to describe my attributes or flaws to others, but perhaps I should try. I can't say I'm normal cause I never knew what that ment. I'm a little shy with strangers but it doesn't take too long for it to go away, I love discussing everything, I'm very paissionate about life and about my ideas, I'lll aways choose going to the movies as the program for the night, I absolutelly love reading, altough I'm the slowest reader there is, I love writing, altough it usually takes half of my time on this earth, and I love travelling, but I wouldn't categorize it as a hobby, it's more of an addiction that I never wanna get rid off.
PHILOSOPHY
I couldn't say I have a motto or anything like it, but I certainly keep looking for myself, with absolutely no certainty and no will to unveil any hidden truth. I'm just wondering around, raising questions and throwing myself in this vast abyss, trying to fill the void with a verse or two. vertigo is a warm lover and I can't help but letting go.
Interests
- film: watching, making, writing about them
- literature: reading and writing and trhowing the writings away
- travelling: getting to know a place and it's history. enjoing a view and trying to capture it on film. getting to know people and making friends, cause exchanging thoughts and ideas is a beautiful thing, it's something I feel so passionate about I would go as far as saying it's what I live for.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm in love with russian literature: dostoievski, gogol, gorki, tolstoi, nabokov! But brazilians are not that far behind: machado de assis, drummond, raduan nassar, ferreira gullar, paulo leminski, manoel de barros, guimarães rosa, augusto dos anjos! But there are many others that are never to far from my nightstand: Franz Kafka, James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, Herman Hesse, Homero, Garcia Marquez, Rimbaud, Flaubert, Nietszche, Fernando Pessoa, Saramago, Adorno, Poe, Salinger, Neruda, Borges, Cervantes... and many others I forgot.
Movies are my ultimate passion. I couldn't summarize it if I wanted to. But I can't leave some names unmentionned. These are a few of the filmmakers who have turned my life around and changed me forever: Kubrick, Orson Welles, Hitchcock, Howard Hawks, John Ford, Bergamn, Truffaut, Antonioni, Gogard, Eric Rohmer, Claude Chabrol, Sergio Leone, Passolini, Scorsese, Fassbinder, Wim Wenders, Herzog, Murnau, Kiarostami, Lynch, Lucrecia Martel, Cassavetes, Michael Haneke, Eisenstein, Vertov, Satyajit Ray, Chaplin, Keaton, Fritz Lang, Abel Gance, Dreyer, Bresson, Julio Bressane, Rogério Sganzerla, Glauber Rocha, Andrea Tonacci, Bunuel, Jean Renoir, Jean Cocteau, Lubitsch, Frank Capra, Grouch Marx, Polanski, Woody Allen, De Palma, John Carpenter, Almodovar, Georges Méliès, Paul Verhoeven, Coen Brothers, Tarantino, Lars Von Trier, Francis Ford Coppola, Sofia Coppola, Luis Sérgio Person, Humberto Mauro, Nelson Pereira dos Santos, Joaquim Pedro, Saraceni, Ruy Guerra, Carlos Reichenbach, José Mojica Marins, Arnaldo Jabor, Eduardo coutinho, Guilherme de Almeida Prado, Domingos de Oliveira, Beto Brant, Walter Salles, Kieslowski, Ozu, Kurosawa, Chan Wook-Park, Hong Sang-Soo, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Hou Hsiao-Hsien... errr.. I got exited.. but I'm sure I'm forgetting at least twenty of my favourites ;)
