Overview
About Me
I am not currently accepting guests due to my first baby on the way. Hopefully, we will be back up and running soon.....
If you are requesting to stay during Burning Man, this is the busiest CS "season" for me. I am reserved two years out on dates surrounding Burning Man.
CURRENT MISSION
To be a friendly, hospitable host to others. I love meeting new people. I look forward to culture clash and diversity. I enjoy meeting smiling faces, going out for coffee, or hanging down by the Marina. My priorities are to serve God, others, and then seek to fulfill my needs. I have found that volunteer work can be more than beneficial to the volunteer as well as the cause. I live to enjoy this life to the fullest, and to help others do the same.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have had many great experiences outside of CS, and since I joined CS I have nothing but rave reviews! Whether travelling hostels or living in small 30-40 person communities within Mexico, I love every minute of it.
Interests
My favorite activity is hiking (Lake Tahoe is 30-40 min with world class resorts). I started a new hobby in mountain biking through a coworker who invited me on an Adventure Race in a Wisconsin state park. I love to stay very active. I also enjoy a good conversation over a cup of coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a pretty broad array of interests in this department.....
I used to play in a band, WYM, back in ND, and I hosted a talk show on NDSU college radio. I am open to most media whether it be cheesy movies (always worthwhile for a laugh) or indie music. My downside here is that I don't have too many personal favorites; I like it all.
