About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living God's plan for my life.
ABOUT ME
I'm a devout Catholic Cajun on a motorcycle. I think that says it all.
PHILOSOPHY
Think beyond the box.
To whom much is given much is expected.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy learning about a culture by emersion and so want to host others who share this philosophy. I will consider hosting one-night stays but they are generally not my preference. I think it takes at least two nights to learn about Acadiana if you get out and really explore in that time. Ideally, 3-5 nights will let you experience enough to really say you've been here and enjoyed it well. The longest I'm willing to host is seven nights.
If you want to know about the Cajun culture, I am willing to host, educate, and show you around. I treat my surfers like friends who are welcome to join me for outings with my friends and family, not just people passing through
I completed a cross-continental motorcycle journey to Alaska and back and enjoyed being a guest to many different people across every state west of the Mississippi River, except Hawaii (kinda hard to get a motorcycle there).
I began couchsurfing in Washington, DC, then continued with local trips to New Orleans, and Slidell so far and hosted 30+ surfers from all over the world.

Movie categories: compelling dramas, well written comedies, historical documentaries, believable horrors.
Rock decades: 60s, 70s, 90s, and 10s so far.
I have a diverse library with classics, professional textbooks, religious literature, and many graphic novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A solo motorcycle journey to Alaska and back. The "and back" part was the more difficult. I have two large photo albums full and many stories to share in exchange for yours.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a BFA in photography so I can definitely help you out in better using your camera, shooting and editing, etc.
I also have a good knowledge of Cajun and Louisiana history and enjoy telling stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy cooking and learning more about my culture through cooking our traditional dishes without the readymade seasonings and whatnot.
