About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make music happen. Plan B: Live in the sea
ABOUT ME
I was born in Argentina and I emigrated to Spain at the age of 19 to see what the fuzz was all about. I wanted to live in different places and travel around the world so that's pretty much what I did, traveling mostly around Europe and spending one year in Romania and another year in Australia as an exchange student. I finished uni down under and I returned to Europe to find myself employed in times of recession in the bustling city of London.
After my many adventures my life has taken a rather abrupt change towards normality (9 to 5 work) but I've quests to complete and I refuse to bow before soul-destroying routines. I'm yet another musician in London trying to play music, enjoy it and mayhaps make a living out of it. Plan B is to sail the seas.
Things you might want to know about me (or not): I'm not to be taken seriously unless I'm being trivial about things. I'm a big fan of olive oil. I don't smoke nicotine (though occasionally I do). I like trees and climbing them. I'm pretty chilled, I guess that's the key.
PHILOSOPHY
Phew, the easy answer would be live and let live/die.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've known about the projects for ages. I've hosted couchsurfers before in my place (when my roommates invited them) many times and I've got tons of friends who do it, love it and recommend it. I'm just late (and lazy) in joining in.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've traveled my fair bit so I've surfed a few couches but nothing yet bearing the official CouchSurfing stamp.
Interests
Music and jamming, pretty much all genres.
Traveling, that bit is obvious.
Chilling in the sun, losing track of time.
Languages, but I'm lazy.
15th century poetry.
Football, it's in the Argie blood, I tried to stay away from it but no can do.
I also enjoy cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Kung Fu Panda.
Top 3 books: Picture of Dorian Grey, Steppenwolf and Rayuela. I also have a weakness for stuff such as The Name of the Wind.
Music: From Pink Floyd to Radiohead to John Butler to Funky Kingston to Jazz to Argentine stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've met some amazing people.
I've stuck my tongue to a frozen statue in Finland! (it hurt)
I saw the biggest moon raising over the ocean in eastern Australia, just before I started to rain massively and the tent that we had pitched on the beach broke and fell down on us. It was a great night, all in all.
I was at the stadium when Rosario Central came back from a 4 - nil down partial in a two leg final to win the game 4 - nil and win it in the penalties. I don't think sport will ever give me that kind of joy again.
Teach, Learn, Share
Nice one!
Things I can teach:
Spanish and English.
Playing the guitar.
Juggling (with a football, and also a bit of normal juggling).
A few cooking recipes (Spanish Gazpacho, Humus, Baking bread, cookies, etc)
Things I can share:
There are plenty of guitars in my house, there's also a Spanish Cajón, a small keyboard, a crap ukelele, a football, mmm, I guess you can also borrow clothes if you need them.
Things I'd like to learn:
Romanian, French, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese. I already know a bit of these languages but it'd be cool to practice.
Musical styles, such as jazz, funky, etc.
Cooking techniques, recipes, etc.
Anything out of the top of your head that is fun and cool.
