About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to combat online and offline hate speech ;). Everyday trying to be environmentally conscious aaaaaaand dance dance dance!

ABOUT ME

I've been studying languages since I was young. I love travelling to or living in other countries in order to be in contact with their culture and their history.. I am now teaching Italian for a private Italian school for foreign people and I like to share time with my students from all over the world and to share our different cultures.

I'm a little bit shy at the beginning, but I assure you I just need a little more time..I'm smiling, polite, respectful, and open to different ideas. Of course, I also have some vices (for example, I take my time to do things and usually it's a long time), but you will have the pleasure to discover them by yourself!ehehehe
I try to be vegetarian (not always successfully)..
I walk a lot..
Ah!I really like ice-cream and cakes and I loooove coffee!!!

PHILOSOPHY

Don't do to others things you wouldn't like to receive

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host, unfortunately. But it will be nice to hang out together!
In the future I hope to offer my sofa in return! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

"No one through this website yet. I hope this is gonna change soon!" - It changed at last! I couldn't find the things I learned from my couchsurfing friends in a tourist guide book :)

Interests

I played the piano for 10 years when I was younger and I like to listen to people who play it or any other instrument on the earth!
Now I'm among those who rather dance! In particular, I'm studying Indian "odissi" dance, which makes me let me enjoy every movement of my body and moment of my life. My guru always says: "Even if we think we're always doing the same footwork, every movement is different, every movement is an opportunity to improve, and to discover new feelings and aspects about ourselves. It's the same for life, that is to say: enjoy every moment!".
I really like colouring and drawing (even if I'm not an expert), and I would like to learn all the techniques to draw better! I love history of art, that's why I love museums! I should say that I love every form of artistic expression.
I used to be interested in photography, even if I don't know specific tecniques, I just used to improvise! Now I rather prefer enjoying life through my eyes. This is the most important thing to me, even if it's pretty sure that I will not remember in the future (I have a very bad memory).
I'm very interested in forms of activism which use creativity and frivolity. I also like discovering new realities which prove me that alternative and fairer ways of working, farming, school teaching and studying are possible!
I also like writing my thoughts down on paper, experimenting contemporary circus, going to the cinema, going to the park during sunny days, riding bicycles, fixing bicycles, reading books, and obviously I love travelling!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like reggae, soul, drum'n'bass, funky, Indian classical music, and many foreign and Italian singer-song writers!Very different genres, you would say! In fact, I don't think there is only one favourite music genre for all of us. I don't even believe in the existence of music "genres": I like all the music which move my heart and make me feel good! (This doesn't mean I like all kinds of music)..
I also like books, even though I'd like to read more than I usually do!I most like writers such as Marquez, Bianciardi, Plath, Pennac, Baricco, Jodorowsky..
I like watching films, especially at the cinema, but I usually forget them soon, and I'm aware I haven't seen many classical masterpieces yet (so, don't ask me about films, please!)..
