To travel around Oceana and Asia in great depth seeing and doing as much as possible and saying 'yes' more often!

ABOUT ME

I am finally embarking on my dream to travel on a long term basis, starting In Australia then moving to New Zealand and throughout Asia. I am using a combination of camping, unofficial /offical couch surfing, hostels and woofing along the way. I think you have to be pretty friendly, approachable and flexible to travel this way, but like everyone, I have my particulars. I'm generally organised, but I am enjoying planning things as I go rather than in advance at the moment. I'm optimistic and enthusiastic and appreciate the basics in life, and even more so now I am travelling. I am loving trying out new experiences, food and setting myself personal challenges. I'll always give an honest opinion, but I'll be tactful if I think you won't like the the answer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosted on a few occasions and attended some social events. I use to look at the Leeds discussion board to see if I can answer people's questions or provide advice. I've never lived anywhere that has been suitable to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosted in Glasgow, Lima, Ecuador and Australia and have had a great time! My hosts have been helpful and hospitable and it is truly a great way to experience a new location. I look forward to doing it again and having surfers when I live somewhere 'surfer' friendly.

I have recently returned from South America (2014) and there were so many amazing things!
Looking at the stars in the Atacama dessert Chile and in the Galapagos Islands- awesomely clear and you can see constellations from the northern and southern hemisphere!!

I'm trying to learn Spanish although my progress is rather slow. I can help improve English skills and some cooking/baking... Look at my interests. I really love sharing my knowledge and experiences with others.
