Hi everyone,
I just moved away from Birmingham, UK. Originally I am Latvian. I have been living abroad for last 6-7 years.
After graduating in Events management I moved to Slovakia as a volunteer (through European Voluntary Service project) where I worked with kids and adults with various level disabilities and it absolutely amazing 10 month experience.

Afterwards I spent a summer in Italy and then decided to go to England for six month to improve my language skills and five years later I was still there with a degree in accounting and working in finance. So now I decided that this is a good point in life to take a break and do what I love the most - travelling.

I am very positive and vibrant person with 'I can do' attitude. I am can adapt to anything and I like to be surrounded by intelligent people who I can learn from.

I am taking a break from my career and currently travelling around Spain. My main aim is to become fluent in Spanish language.

I am on this site to increase my network as I go places as well as potentially find a host now and then..

Never travelled before, but once I left my country life turned upside down!
Some people never step out of their comfort zone.. to me this is the most amazing thing I could have done for myself.
I have learned do not care about appearances and what others think of me!

I am currently looking after two kids and the youngest one is adopted. And this little boy has given me the most precious moments in my life! He just comes up to me with these shinny eyes and the purest smile on his face and says : "Jolanta, soy muy contento " [I am so happy]. All he did, he woke up, had brekkie and got dressed to go to school.
I don't think I can explain how his words made me feel, but I wish to everyone find their way of feeling the same.

I am more about quality over quantity.
My friends, colleagues and family says I am type of person who adds value to their lives. Is it true or not, I have no idea! :)

I appreciate others a lot, I have worked hard in my life and I never envy others for what they have. I treat people the way I would like to be treated, I keep my promises and I am honest (which not always works in my favour ha ha )

I am sure with my attitude and the values I have, I would be a great company to have around :)
