Hello folks!

I'm travelling around Europe having spent five weeks in Peru. I have just completed a home-exchange through homeexchange.com swapping my house for 3 weeks in Montpellier, France and 1 week in Paris! I am making my way to the U.K to do a couse in storytelling...I am a social person and love hearing the stories of places and people. Also following the Black Madonna pilgrimage around France!

am a social person and adore hearing the stories of people and places. I really appreciate being in someone's home & tried AirB&B for that reason but found that whilst some hosts were fantastic, others dropped you the key and dissapeared. I appreciate people have busy lives and can't engage with you 24/7 - and thats not what I want, but I really enjoyed the company of engaging,interesting and open people and would like to offer a similar space to travellers when I return home.

I love nature, parks, gardens, oceans, rivers- any water you can swim . I love visiting art galleries , beautiful buidings any place with a good story attached is a good place to be!

Ok...I am an 80's chick..INXS, Prince, George Michael ( ahh cringe), Chris Isak...ok don't take me off the list! I have redeemable tastes...Ella Fitzgerald and anything written by the genious Cole Porter always makes me smile. I'm really into most music as long as it is not Heavy Metal...
Movies...oh god this is revealing- I'm a complete, hopeless, pathetic romantic...you know I'm not saying, but think the worst and your probably spot on...
Books...varied mostly with an eosoteric bent

I have played with white lion cubs, I have been chased by an angry mother elephant (on foot) (Africa) I have hiked through the night with tens of thousands to a snow capped sacred mountain for a three-day pilgramidge and festival (Peru), I have stood on a mountain and heard the wind streaming through the finger-like feathers of a condor as it soared a mere ten metres above me..
