My current mission is to complete my studies, work and save up some money, then travel the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm open minded, fun and friendly. I love hanging out with people especially those from other countries. I love learning about the many different cultures and traditions. I love cooking and baking as well, though I may not be very good at it. My parents are from Johor who has hosted twice. I usually go home to Johor during my semester breaks. I'll host with them when I'm there.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that knowledge is power. And knowledge can be absorbed from anything. Anything. TV, Music, Books, Experiences, Life and Life's Harships, Meeting New People, and Travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I help my parents host couch surfers in their home whenever I'm back in Johor.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not surfed anybody's couch before, but I've helped my parents host two couple so far and we're expecting a lady next week. I defnitely plan to host more once I get my own home. I also of course would like to be hosted by lovely people around the world.

Interests

I have a good mix of interests. Some are introvert and some are extrovert. I love to cosy up in a comfy place and read a good book, play some PS3 or computer games, or cook and bake in the kitchen. But at the same time, I also love exploring, going on thrill rides, meeting new people, learning new things, taking chances. I also enjoy learning new languages. Currently, I'm looking to learn Korean and French.

Music, Movies, and Books

My interest in movies, music and books are also a wide variety.nfor movies, I love horror movies, comedy, romantic-comedy, sic-fi, no-brainers, etc. Same goes to my love for books. Horror, Comedy, Romantic-comedy, etc. As for music, I listen to any kind except for metal. Maybe it's a bit too heavy for my liking, no pun intended. However, I'm currently crazy about KPOP (even before Gangnam Style was a hit). My favourite bands are Super Junior, Big Bang, SHINee, SNSD, f(x) and EXO. I would love to meet fellow fans too :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't had many chances of doing anything extraordinary in my life. I'm still young and I have a lot of time to do things. But I want to share that I've travelled to Taiwan, HongKong, South of Thailand, Northern India, Turkey, and Singapore. I travel a lot to Singapore because my hometown Johor is so near to it.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I've mentioned before, I love cooking and baking, so learning the many different styles of cooking and recipes would be wonderful. I'm a novice cook so i only know a bit, though I can still always share my experiences in the kitchen. I also mentioned my love for languages. I'm only good in English and the Malay language which I can easily teach. My Mandarin has lots of room for improvement (even though I'm a Chinese, I wasnt raised speaking it) so I dare not teach much of that. I would love to learn Korean and French. and Japanese and German and Russian and Spanish and Latin. Ha ha. Besides culinary and language, I'm open to learning almost anything and everything. As long as its not against the law or ethically bad. :)
