About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Learning how to dance without ground under your feet

ABOUT ME
I am everchanging, like the sea. Getting a glimpse of a personality from a profile is very difficult, we should meet in person for that! ;)
Last year I traveled and improvised on life and somehow I got super drawn towards crafts. Working with different materials and creating something with them makes my heart beat faster. Currently I'm studying Ceramics in Hasselt.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a way to connect more with a place and to broaden your world and perspectives. I believe that the people make the city or country, getting to know them and the way they think and live is such an important aspect of getting to know a place or a culture. That's why couchsurfing is so handy, it pulls you out of this hostel/hotelbubble and shows you locals and their real life. And also I loooooove connecting with people. It casts down borders and prejudices.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, but slowly :)
One book that touched me very deeply was "The Unbearable Lightness of Being", by Milan Kundera
further I really enjoyed "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran, "The forty rules of love" by Elif Shafak, "De kapellekensbaan" by Louis Paul Boon, "Bonjour Tristesse" by Françoise Sagan and "Adrift in Soho' by Colin Wilson (I love love love this writer! I've read multiple books of him)

For movies, I don't watch a lot of them, but what I really like is movies with some finesse and character. A little while ago I saw a Norwegian movie about about a family going on skiholiday. The story was brought with a lot of finesse and rawness, I was very much in love! I also really like Belgian movies like 'My Queen Karo', 'Tot altijd', 'The Broken Circle Breakdown', 'Rundskop', 'Marina',...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wandered through the desert with (in the beginning) a group of strangers for two weeks. This experience changed me a lot
