Overview
About Me
Hi, nice to meet you, fellow couchsurfers,
Originally from a village in the Northeast of the Netherlands, I moved to the centrally located city of Utrecht about 10 years ago. Because I love the experience of getting to experience different places, I took the opportunities that I got to move to other places several times, including places abroad. That's why I also love couchsurfing: just as living in a place, compared to visiting as a tourist, couchsurfing gives you a more deeper experience of the people, vibe and culture that live there. That is why I recently, perhaps a bit late, I discovered the joy of couchsurfing, and I met the coolest people through it. I decided to make couch surfing a bigger part of my next travels, and hopefully at some point (when I have the space) host people myself. I hope I'll get to know more amazing people through this platform!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Staying in hostels between other tourists is fine, but when I'm travelling I love to leave the tourist bubble and meet locals, and I believe couchsurfing is one of the best ways to do that!
Interests
I like to experience new places and I love the outdoors. Therefore I'm always up for hiking, cycling, kayaking or just strolling through a city and trying weird local food and the night life. Relaxing I do with a good book or a great conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love films and books in a historical setting, and I have a preference for funky psychedelic influences in music, like those made in the 60s and 70s, or anything inspired by it. Music is a mood.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good conversation and a silly laugh.
