I am Jolien, a twenty-something girl from Belgium. I am in love with life and traveling is a big part of the reason why I am. Unfortunately I don't have that much spare time to travel every day, but as a compensation I love meeting travelers from all over the globe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are so many things to learn, see, discover… the best way to do so, is to meet as many people and to travel as many places as possible . It's a cliché, but it's true.

Interests

I like to try everything ( well not everything-everything, but you know) at least once. Therefore my field of interest is really broad. I adore it when people can teach me something new and mind-opening.

When I am at home, most of my spare time goes to cooking and organizing. I enjoy a nice weekend at home, but not every weekend. Therefore I'd like to plan trips with my friends and play tourist in our own country.

I'm very much into discovering new bands/singers, but lately I don't have much inspiration for that occupation. So if you have a great band to share, feel free to do so.

I like books which are educational, but I never finish one. (Don't ask why)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing half dome in Yosemite park is probably the most amazing thing I've done so far. I will be back up there sometime soon!

Actually every moment of traveling has been amazing so far!
