Overview
About Me
I grew up in Traverse City, Michigan. I graduated from Hope College with a triple major in Psychology, Spanish, and Management. I spent 5 months during a semester abroad in Querétaro, Mexico. After college, I worked for a few years before deciding to go back to school to be a teacher. I will soon be certified to teach Elementary and Spanish K-8, and will have ESL and bilingual endorsements.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first experience couchsurfing was while traveling with a friend in Costa Rica. She told me it was her favorite way to travel, and I soon saw why! I loved staying with locals and really experiencing travel in a new way. Once I have a place of my own I hope to return the favor to other travelers looking for a place to stay.
