Hello,
My name is Joline Papa, yes Papa is my real name. I'm 28 and lived in Amsterdam for the last 6 years, but now I've decided to go travel the world, starting in New Zealand! So currently I have no place to call home. I graduated in 2D animation in March 2016. I have a great passion for drawing and I really like making films. I first studied graphic design and later on I wanted to explore the creative side of life more and ended up at my brothers Uni, where he studied Game Design and I Animation. I grew up in a medium big town called Amersfoort. This is where I lived till my 21st. By that time my brother who lived in Amsterdam went to Japan for his study and I took over his apartment. Not really his apartment tho, because he lived as an anti squatter. And now I lived all over Amsterdam in the last 5 years, in 7 different houses, mostly in West. Besides living in Amsterdam, where I go out, cycle much and enjoy the beauty of the city, I work at a bakery 2 days in a week. My hobbies are drawing ofcourse! I love cooking, surfing, cycling, swimming, drink beer and wine and so on. So in the last 3 years, every summer I worked as a cook on a Dutch surfcamp in France.
There is where I met my boyfriend Sam, he worked there as a surf instructor and the first day I saw him, I fell all over ears in love with him.

I love people! How different the are, all the stories the have to tell and of course, hospitality. The idea behind Couchsurfing is wonderful, it's the best way the travel cheap and see so many beautiful places!

兴趣

I've already told you a lot about my interests but there's more! I really like art, going to musea. Exploring the world, meet new people etc. I also like to hang out with my friends, go to music events like concerts, festivals and dance to all different types of music. I live not far from the ocean, so once in a while I'll have to go out, take the train and walk along the beach, getting my head together, make up new inspiration for my work and just smell the ocean.

My favorite author is Haruki Murakami, he's an Japanse writer who writes to most interesting novels. There are semi-realistic, with a lot of fiction mixed together.
My favorite movie is Pulp fiction I think. I love Si-Fi as wel as action movies.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I saw the tombes in Luxor Egypt! When I was 16 I went traveling with my friend and her parents around Christmas and visited the most wonderful city of Luxor, with all his beauty and ancient history.

And another amazing thing I've done is helping out my mother when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer... That's the thing where I'm most proud of doing. It was so hard and not easy, but in the end it was worth all the pain and suffering.
