Hi! I am a 22 year old girl from Leiden, the Netherlands. I will be travelling with my niece and best friend Manon to Valencia this summer. Last year I was couchsurfing on my own in Tuscany, which was incredible and really fell in love with the couchsurfing experience. Met amazing people, drank delicious wine and surprised new friends with my amazing banana pancakes!

This year, I want to show Manon how amazing it is. She studied for a year in Australia, so we are really relaxed people and always in for a fun :).

I now live in Leiden, a city in Holland which is between The Hague and Amsterdam. Unfortunately I live in a big student house where there is no opportunity to offer a spare bed (there is not even a spare bed..) to couchsurfers, but I am a huge fan of the city. If you want some tips, tricks or have some general questions about Holland, please let me now. I am more than willing to give you some inside information!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is the music my dad listens to, so the oldskool rock bands. Coldplay is an all-time favorite :). Some new bands, for example Gallowstreet (a Dutch band, you have to listen on Spotify!!) as well. However, with some wine I can enjoy jazz as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied in Prague in 2016! That was an amazing experience where I had to build up a (temporarily) new life with new friends, education and adventures. Last year, I went to Tuscany on my own, which was amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my cooking skills (really, doing grocery shopping is already fantastic for me, especially in a foreign country), I love to go along with any random but fun idea, and together with Manon we are a hilarious duo :)
