ABOUT ME:

I am Jade, a free spirit, travel is my passion.
I live with my best friend & partner in crime, Neil. He's new to Couch Surfing, I told him so much about it, that he thinks it an awesome way to travel & very excited to meet fellow travellers.

I am currently back in UK, travel restrictions over the last few years have actually been really positive for me. After years, of feeling like I had to travel as far as possible, to have an adventure. I have now become a traveller in my own country, exploring the beautiful UK. I am enjoying exploring & visiting new places.

We love to be outdoors in nature, hiking, wild camping, cycling, either in the mountains, or by the beach.

Over the past year, I've been working on overcoming a fear of heights, pushing myself out of my comfort zone. It's been life changing. So now, you'll find me looking for crazy stuff to do at a height.

We like to eat healthy and do not eat meat.

I practice yoga and meditation. We are happy positive people, we love to share our good energy and to share time with others with good vibrations.

Neil is a keen cyclist & loves running.

After recently overcoming a fear of heights, i've scrambled across Crib Coch, Done the Via-Ferrata at Honister slate mine. Go-apes. Velocity zipline at Snowdonia. Sky-dive.

Cycled & wild camped the Hebridean Way.

Cycled across North England, West Coast of Morecambe to the East Coast of Filey.

Shaved my head to fundraise for charity.
Watched cows, cut the grass at the Taj Mahal.
Climbed the Sydney harbour bridge.
Sky dive in NZ & this year in UK.
Swam with dolphins.
Voluntering in India.
Saw a Puma in Torres del Paine.
Fishing for piranhas in the Amazon.
Climbed active volcano in Ecuador.

I've not spoken Spanish for a while, I would like to improve & remember my vocabulary.

We are really getting into foraging recently, our hedgerows are abundant with edible healthy food. We can share the knowledge we have, we would love to meet someone who can help us identify other edibles.

We love trying to cook new dishes from around the world, if you can share with us a recipe from your country.
We can share with you nice Vegetarian Meals, we have lots of knowledge on healthy eating and changes to your diet that can improve your health.

We use lots of natural alternatives to heal ourselves and enjoy sharing our knowledge.

Share Laughter, Jade, has experience of attending laughter workshops. Laughter realeses endorphins and makes you feel great. I can show you how. 😄

I love to share my travel stories and experiences and to listen to others. I have lots of advice and recomendations on places i have visited. It is always great to hear others travel advice and great places to visit.

I enjoy meditation and yoga, maybe we can practice together.
