ABOUT ME
A curious Swede with an apptitude for boredome who thus tries to get away from wherever whenever possible. Before leaving high school I spent a year in Argentina and after graduation moved to Egypt just before the revolution hit. I then headed over to China for some time and now Im once again back in my native land.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted on a few occasions in addition to having surfed at various locations.

Only wonderful encounters at home as well as abroad! A dozen or so countries surfed so far
Interests
Being a travel freak (just like anyone else on CS I guess) I have been fortunate enough to visit quite a few interesting countries. Whenever abroad, I try to pursue some exotic interests suitable for temperate climates; rock-climbing/hiking and scuba diving. The most charming feature of traveling though is to be able to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures, the more exotic the better(!), ss a result; I tend to seek for increasingly exciting and peculiar experiences.
However, I also feel perfectly comfortable with experiencing the world from my kitchen: as an AFS volunteer, student host and former Trainer within the European YiA programe I have had the occasion to meet quite a lot of foreigners in my own environment, something continually self-revealing and insightful.
Some other passions in my life are my interests in the humanities; literature, history, politics, linguistics, philosophy etc. Some of these interests steam from the fact that Iâ

Teach, Learn, Share
In my oppinion Couhsurfing is social exchange, so when I surf I like to do whatever chores are available. It just makes sense - surfers are time-rich and house-poor
