ABOUT ME

Living a dream instead of dreaming my life! I left my job (in September 2006) and I travelled around the world for one year (until October 2007). I've covered a part of Europe and Asia and I've setted foot on South America in Peru. This trip has been amazing!

I'm looking forward to travel a lot more and discover plenty of new places.

PHILOSOPHY

We all hear it and I think it's true: life is too short. So that's why I think it's important to accomplish as many things as possible and to cease as many opportunities as there is.
I'm the master of my own destiny and it's up to me to create myself an extraordinary life.
Travelling has been for me the way to make my dreams come true and to live a wonderful life.

I had a couple of CS experience so far and it's been very nice. I look forward to meet new people and I think CS is the perfect opportunity to meet people from around the world.

Interessen

I just love travelling! It's so amazing how many discoveries about the world and my self I made just by walking around the globe. For me, it is the greatest of all experiences.

I also have a big interest in photography. It's a great way to see the world and to keep my souvenirs as vivid as possible.

Learning languages is another of my interests. I find it so rich to be able to express myself in another language. It gives a great insight at another culture.

I like adventure sports as trekking and rafting. I discovered scuba diving and it's such a wonderful activity, so relaxing and yet interesting because of the discovery of another world under the sea.

Also, I like playing basketball, reading and dancing salsa when I have the occasion. Cinema is one of my interest too, but forget about the blockbusters. They're not the ones catching my attention.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies: 2001, A Space Odessey, The God Father, West Beyrouth, La Meglio Gioventu (Best of Youth), Bowling for Columbine, Baraka, and Infernal Affair.

Music: Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Talent, The Muse, The Prodigy, Radiohead, System of a Down, Björk, Dave Matthews, Ladytron, Magneta Lane, Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age and the Beastie Boys. I recently discovered, Beast, Lykke Li and Bat for Lashes.

Books: War and Peace (Tolstoi), The count of Monte Cristo (Dumas), 1984 (Orwel), Animal Farm (Orwel), The Lord of The Ring (Tolkien), Les Rois Maudits (Druon) and I also like to read about politics.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I took a year to travel around the world! I have quitted my job and I was on the road for a whole year. Eventhough, I came back to a normal life now, I'll continue to travel all my life.

The craziest thing that I've ever done in my life is Bungy jumping. I did it in Nepal, where the jump is 160 meters high (the second highest in the world at the time!).

Something else that was very special, was to cross Russia on the mystical transsiberian train. What a journey! It was a 7 days ride. Fortunately for me, I had the chance to stop half way in Irkutsk for two days.

Diving in Thailand was for me an amazing experience. It was the discovery of the under water world. And, it's so relaxing!

Being a part of the water festival (Buddhist New Year) in Laos was a unique experience. Being in this huge party for three days, where everybody get soaked from head to toes was a lot of fun. I wish I could go back again.

Doing some trekking in Nepal was fantastic. The scenery was stunning. The Hymalayans mountains are so massive and impressive.
