I stayed in many homes around New Zealand and always enjoyed the warm, open hearted and friendly hospitality.
Definitely the best way to experience a place and the easiest way to meet locals and catch some of the places vibes.

I haven't done anything really nerv cracking yet, unfortunately.
Weather didn't allow skydives and a big hike I was going to do (Tongarero Crossing) neither.
