About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to share

ABOUT ME

always start with the negative: i am selfish, arrogant (french), do not have a shower everyday (french again), only to mention the top 3 shadowpoints.
but i defend myself at chess, have a few surreal stories to tell, and very good at cleaning a house from spiderwebs (i am 1.90m), aint that beautiful?

PHILOSOPHY

to see the world, learn from different people and cultures and exchange of course, with the secret mission of drawing a book from all these experiences. for the moment i still feel like 99% of the mission is ahead. work in progress entonces.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I usually do the dishes;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have been couchsurfing for years, visiting most of south america this way, and making friends.

Interests

the color blue, greek mythology, umberto eco, the number 2, and the number pi, and e, animals (i am a happy man that would die happy tomorrow: i swam with a humpback whale and her calf and all kind of ocean creatures from my diving activities), missions (i call missions physical and spiritual challenges such as climbing the Ojos del Salado (6896m, second highest peak of americas) or try not to throw paper in the bloody bowl of south american toilets, learning new langages and astounding words, for example tarzanello in italian. anybody guessing the meaning of tarzanello gets a free french (rather chilean now) bottle of wine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

writing a list would be presomptuous. and anyway the best is still to come.
to be perfectly dull again:
it all boils down to LOVE, doesnt it?

Teach, Learn, Share

i recently came across the inca slogan (quechua):
ACA SUA, AMA LLULLA, AMA KHELLA,
which means, dont steel, dont lie, dont be lazy,
which seems to match perfectly the rights and duties of the CS community.
dont steel the time and goodness of your hosts, dont lie about you when introducing, dont be lazy about returning the favor in one way or the other.
