About Me

Australian living and studying in Zurich, Switzerland. Although the study load takes up most of my life, I'm trying to explore Europe and learn about/experience the diverse cultures in such a small place (relative to Australia, the cultural diversity in Switzerland alone is phenomenal, let alone the whole of Europe).

Enjoy being active and outdoors. Love discovering a new city by bike and trying local delicacies. New cultures, local festivals, sports, etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

About to ride around Belgium and visit different cities on a 'study trip'. Essentially I've got exams coming up but this is the best chance to travel :)

I think the philosophy of couchsurfing is great in that it provides a lot more than just a roof over one's head at night. It encourages sharing and kindness between people as well as encouraging us to be more welcome and trusting of others which I think we as a society can always strive to improve.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tried to measure lava bomb trajectories atop an active volcano crater, that being Mt Yasur in Vanuatu.
