About Me

There's so much! But hopefully I can summarize some of it:
- Studied abroad at the University of Oslo for 2018-2019.
- Studying a bunch: political science (international relations and political behavior), economics (policy track), ethics and public policy, and sociology.
- My long-term career goal must revolve around helping people. After all the experiences I've had in life and the people I've met who have given it meaning, I believe this is the best way to honor them.
- Lover of deep conversations, meeting a diverse plethora of people, and experiencing what life has to offer.
- Let's experience life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Once I heard about Couchsurfing I knew I had to join. Traveling and immersing in local cultures is a remarkable experience on its own, but to share this experience with people from all around the world is too amazing to pass up! Whether it's going to must-see spots few go to, or sharing about our lives over a drink, I know this experience will shape who I am as a person moving forward.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Both the dumbest and most amazing thing I've done was last winter in Norway. While travelling the Lofoten Islands I decided to climb a local mountain for the first time; alone, with no equipment, under-dressed, and in freezing temperatures. But even with that it was amazing because I never did something like this before and it was life-changing in a way. Also I got to watch the Northern Lights for the very first time near the top of that mountain, it was incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Hmm... depends what you are interested in? Want to discuss the philosophy of Sartre, learn to make a mean french toast, or freshen up your piano-playing skills? Maybe you just want to learn more from someone with a different background? I'm an open book.

Learn: I'd love to learn more about other languages and cultures! People are rich in the qualities that make them who they are, I'm eager to explore that.

Share: If I'm hosting, I'd love to share all the area has to offer! Exploring must-see places and having an awesome experience along the way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm more than willing to share some of the responsibility! Need help tidying up? Want to grab a bite to eat? I'm your guy! By hosting travelers you're already doing more than enough, let me do something for you.
