I recently left both of my jobs in order to travel and visit loved ones out West. I'm an easy-going, daydreaming twenty six year old with a big appetite for learning. With the exception of a childhood sojourn to San Francisco, I've never been west of Muskogee, Oklahoma and I'm eager to see and experience what the western states have to offer.

I am a nerd, culture junkie, basketball fanatic, a reliable brother and friend and (grand)son. When I'm around home you'll find me at the neighborhood corner bar, hanging out with my grandparents, watching a movie with my knucklehead friends, on a hike or a long walk, or curled up with a novel.

I'm traveling from New Orleans to California back to my home in Pennsylvania. A number of my friends and family members are hosting me in their homes during my cross country road trip. There are large stretches of my trip, however, where no loved ones are near. I'd love to meet new people and soak up local insight from my hosts.
